Hartge have always been into putting bigger engines into the cars than stock. Here they have fitted the 3 series with the V10 from the M5. They have dropped V12s in 5 series, all very expensive and mind blowing. Mind you, one wonders why a person would spend this sort of money when adding forced induction to a standard M3 would give a similar result from a much smaller outlay.

but hartge is a "vom kraftfahrtbundesamt anerkannter automobilhersteller", that means hartge is not just a tuner, hartge is a car manufacturer

But the engine is also from BMW! It´s like the cars from Alpina. They just pimp them, but the main part is from BMW. On the cars from Alpina there stands something like B5 S or so on the panser and here stands Hartge.Nevermind...in my eyes BMW produce one of the best cars world wide.
