CAT is radio control, serial. Packet interface is audio to and from the radio to the computer or TNC plus PTT. Band data usually goes to an antenna tuner to tell the tuner what band the radio is set to. Band data interfaces are usually manufacturer specific. Randy

Hi. Great video!What is the difference between a CAT interface cable, a packet interface cable and a band data cable.Would you say that TRX Manager is a worthwhile investment for someone just with an endfed and enjoys QRP - max 10W.Many thanks and have a great Christmas!
