I really want one. They are a beautiful car and true sleeper. Might be a little old considering the years they were produced since we about to be in 09' but Im already looking for a 5spd one as a very good project.

Sorry mate but in Australia we get the soarers as grey imports. I have one sitting in my driveway and none of them have a 2jz-gte motor as standard. The upgrade you speak of from 97-00 was to put vvti and a single turbo on the 1jz. For anyone who really cares (can't be many) refer to this guide. As for the video, this car has all the go and show you could ever want in a car. Love the hid headlights and turning lights.

I dont care what year Sc300(US) anybody has...Fact: from late 1991 to 2000 it was equipped with a 2JZ-GE. Now in japan known as the Toyota Soarer, it was equipped with the 1JZGTE 91-96, from 97-00 with the MKIV Supra's Notorious 2JZGTE. also the 1UZ 4.0 Soarer aka the SC400 ran from 92-00 being replaced in 01 by the SC430.

umm you are the only one who is wrong dickhead. This Lex is a Na-t, check the other vid on the under the hood view of the dyno pull. The Intake goes over the head is your 1st clue, 2nd Sc300s come with a 2jz-ge not a fuckin 2.5TT 1jz found in the Jdm Soarer. I dont even have one and I knew that.

The c5 z06 has a 5.7L ls6 which makes 450hp and around 360rwhp stock and it weighs 3100lbs.

Never heard of an sc300 with a ijz. The 2jz is a three litre engine whether or not it is turbo hence sc300. The sc400 is a v8 (quad cam from memory) 4litre engine hence sc400. The jap spec toyota soarer has comes with either the v8 motor, a twin turbo 1jz (2.5litre), or in the later models a 1jz single turbo with vvti. Either way, I love the lexus/soarer best value car in the world.

I think you need to go do so more research, some of these people already answered your question here, cause the sc300 in the usa comes with 2jz n/a's and the japan sc300 know as soarers are 1jz's. Go do some research at clubna-t fool.
