Ok. I think I grasp the 'wisdom of emptiness' I just call it perception without thought. That is, where I see, touch, feel, smell, etc, without adding labels, names, without reacting emotionally in my 'preprogrammed' ways, or even if I do react, I do not think about my reactions, I just let my body do its thing, and let my mind observe it.But when it comes to 'buddha nature,' that does not translate. I would appreciate if you could elaborate on this. (so far I come up with air => smug)

1st - Because of attachment to form, u see mountain as mountain.2nd - using wisdom of emptiness, u see mountain not as mountain.3rd - realising that every form u see are manifestations of ur buddha nature, u see mountain as mountain, water as water again.

I think you are saying that the image of the mountain and the word mountain are not related, that we name them mountains because of the language we speak & think in...the second part I do not get, and do not so much care for...I don't know how you can 'see them again as mountains and waters' -- I see things as things and the names are arbitrary to me, and are only useful for forming memories and communicating ideas. I find the part about enlightenment to be smug and subtly condesending.

I agree with the prior comment, Byron Katie's voice is kind and soothing and makes you want to curl up on the couch and listen to her speak some more!!! Nice way to intro people to Katie!!!
